Who doesn't fantasize about galloping along a seemingly never-ending sandy beach? Now you can make that dream a reality, even if you're a beginner rider. There are plenty of safe horses to choose from. After a brief 25-minute lesson in the riding arena, you'll have the chance to ride in nature for another 25 minutes. On the first evening, there's a welcome meeting where you'll receive information about the ride and the Icelandic horse. Over the next few days, you'll explore the Wadden Sea, dunes and the vast sandy beach on horseback. In between rides, you can enjoy wellness activities, swimming indoors or outdoors depending on the season and delicious food. If you're up for it, you can also relax in the bar in the evenings. This week will be an unforgettable experience.

Owner and manager Horses have always been a big part of my life, and family. I started with one horse and now we have more than 100 icelandic horses. We are breeding on strong horses, easy to handle and nice gaits. I choose my guides – not only on riding qualifications but also on human talents. I always have contact to all clients more er less every day. Our horses are never locked up in a box but they all enjoy freedom and social contact to other horses. I do ride myself as well – but running a big business does require you more in front of a PC then on the back of a horse.

Coffee and cookie 3 pm - 4:30 pm. Greeting meeting with a beverage and dinner, followed by an evening presentation and video about Icelandic horses.

It's important to know

There are many other activities available for the travelers who come along. In addition to beach sports, hiking, biking and fishing are also popular. The Wadden Sea is a paradise for birdwatchers, with 15 million migratory birds stopping to feed at certain times of the year. There is also an 18-hole golf course located approximately 1.5 km from the hotel.

Vi har haft et rigtig dejligt ophold på gården. Værelset vi boede på var pænt, rent og hyggeligt indrettet. Maden var rigtig lækker, både buffeterne og morgenmaden. Servicen var god, både i receptionen og i restauranten.

För en veckas ridsemester var min fru och jag mycket nöjda med vårt besök på gården. Vi hade en fantastisk semester och överträffade våra förväntningar. Det finns vissa behov av renovering på hotellet som helhet, men jag får intrycket att det blir bättre med tiden. Lägenheten vi bodde i var ett rum som nyligen hade renoverats och hade ett modernt utseende. Medföljande middagsbuffé var utmärkt, och de andra kvällarna var mer "okej". Det verkar som om fiskbuffén och "det jyske kaffebordet" är utmärkta. Även om personalen var lite stressad och förvirrad ibland, var de trevliga. Ridningen och dess tillbehör var fantastiska. Det finns fina hästar, bra personal och en underbar natur. Jag kommer aldrig att glömma de långa galopperna över de enorma stränderna. Vi red i en röd grupp, som var mer erfaren, och tempot var därefter. När det gäller ridförmågan är det här inte ett ställe att överdriva, eftersom det går snabbt i den röda gruppen. Engelska, Danska och Tyska används för att kommunicera. Det finns trevlig personal och en familjär stämning på platsen. En kväll vi var där ordnade de en brasa på stranden med gratis snacks och billigt öl och vin. Hej! Vi ser fram emot vår återkomst.
